Rippa Rugby . . .

This year Kate and I are going to be playing Rippa Rugby. I played two years ago and hated it. This year though Kate and I are both into it. Our first game was on Saturday. We played at Riwaki. I got hold of the ball, run most of the field and scored a try! Everyone was yelling at me to put the ball down, but I was on a mission and I put the ball right under the goal posts. I knew what I was doing. Kate had a great game, Mummy says she is a bit of a Sport Billy, so she was right into it. Gran and Grandad came to watch our game. Then afterwards Mummy took the three of us to the beach and the playground at Kaiteriteri for a while. I am looking forward to our next game next weekend. Luke

River fun . . .

It is holiday time again . . . hooray :)

Today after lunch we went for a walk along the river track. Grace and I rode our bikes (there was a wee hic-cup right at the start when I fell off my bike and cried and cried and cried).

Grace and I cycled the track and Mummy and Luke walked with Tom.

We are aiming to do one cool thing each day these holidays. We will keep you posted.

We went to the Circus . . .

. . . and it was very very cool. There were loads of people doing cool tricks, and then at half time I got picked to go into the middle and do tricks with one of the circus people! I hope we get to go to a Circus again :)

River fun . . .

Last week my class had a trip down to the river so we could practice river crossing, build some monsters and have some fun.

Then on Saturday I took Mummy, Grace and Kate back to the river so I could tell them all about my day.

I do enjoy a trip to the river.

My first tryathlon . . .

Two weeks ago I went and did the Weetbix Tryalthlon. That was a first for me. It was great day. Daddy was in charge of looking after the little ones, so just Mum and I went.

I hadn't done a lot of training (I was just winging it really). It was a bit of an effort, but I managed to complete the whole thing. The group I was in was the very last group to go (which meant that Mum could take some cool photos because there weren't many crowds.

First we did the swimming bit, but we actually just walked through the water, then the cycle and then the run.

It was a brilliant day, I can't wait to do it again next year.
