We had our whole school cross country today at school. I was running with the Year 0-2 crowd. I have been very very excited about the cross country, we have been doing loads of training at school this week. Then today my friends and I did some more training at interval and at lunchtime.
The running started after lunch and we were first up. Gran and Aunty Daphne (she is Gran's sister and is visiting at the moment) came to watch me run, so did Daddy, Kate and Luke. Mummy was there because she was recording where everyone came in the races.
I finished about the middle. It was a hard race, we had to go right around the back field. I thought that I was going to win (Mummy said she could just write down that I came first . . . ). But there were loads of kids racing and some of them were very very fast.
I think next year I will have to do some more training.
