. . . and I missed my day sleep today. Apparently when you are two sometimes you don't need to have a day sleep everyday. She is so wrong!
When babies don't get a day sleep people have to keep very busy so they don't go to sleep.
Before lunch we went to the beach. But I needed a nappy change, so we had to come home. It was a very long walk home, I was a bit grumpy.
After lunch we went to the new Aquatic Centre in Greymouth. It was so cool!!!!!! All the big boys disappeared to play. Gracie found a friend and took off, Violet came to sat by the sidelines and watched, Belinda and Holly were lurking around being teenagers and Luke and I hung out with Mummy. We had a great time. The funniest thing was played Ring a Ring a Rosie when Mummy kept going under the water. Violet found some water wings and a floaty for me. I had a brilliant time.
There was some drama when we left though, as we were leaving Gracie went to tell Violet we were leaving and Gracie slipped on the floor and hurt her knee - she screamed and screamed. Luke disappeared into the Boy's changing and we couldn't find him. Mummy sent a man to find him, but he was sitting a locker crying because he had hit his head. I realised that Mummy had left me with Gracie (to find Luke) and I cried and cried. We are not going back to the swimming pool in the afternoon. Ever!
When we got home I was so grumpy and tried. But I had my tea, then I nearly fell asleep on Mummy so Luke and I went for a walk with Mummy. Cool
By seven I was sound asleep. Finally.

Your Mummy is far braver than Mia's ever was. She never would have attepted such an adventure, actually she still wouldn't!!
Ahh go on Aunty Mary, it is an adventure (and your kids are all big)
