Rippa Rugby . . .

I am going to be a Rippa Rugby boy. I am playing for the Tapawera team, a couple of weeks ago I had my first game. It didn't go well. I spent most of the game crying on the side lines refusing to go on to the field. All the other boys went on and played the game, but not me.

I do like my uniform though, it is very cool and because I didn't play the game it didn't get dirty, so I kept it on until I had my bath after tea.

After the rugby game we went to visit Old Nana and Old Grandad so they could see my flash (and very clean) uniform.

Then on the way home we stopped at Faulkner's bush for a play.

Since the dreadful first day I have had three games of rugby and have actually played, no more crying on the sidelines. I like Rippa Rugby, it is fun for a small boy.
